This is a cool park for kids. There is a play set for all ages. We have been taking our kids here on a regular basis for years and they love it. We have even visited the park before school if we are up early and need to get a little of the crazies out of our son before school time.There is usually a parent or two standing around to carry on a conversation with to help the time pass too.
- Year round playground equipment.
- Great covered picnic area.
- Summer time water slide and pool area. This is usually open around Memorial Day until Labor Day.
- Gazebo
- Large grassy area for playing.
- Festivals,Carnivals, Art Shows, Church Picnics and more…
- Ice Cream shop across the street plus plenty of restaurants in town to feed yourself after all the fun.
It can get crowded in the warmer months and especially when school lets out. I think a lot of parents bring their kids there after school to wear them out before heading home. I know we do this a lot.
